I can’t believe it’s nearly November, and many coats haven’t been snapped up or sold out. As a journalist, I would typically file and write about coats since August and always advise buying early to avoid disappointment.

Grey coat, Warehouse

There have been one or two viral coats, namely the black maxi coat from Cos and the Toteme scarf coat, which has spawned its trend. I have a love/hate relationship when a piece of clothing goes everywhere; it makes me want it less/more in equal measure.

Teddy maxi coat, Jigsaw

I usually use a viral item in a shoot to get it out of my system and move on; it’s the only way to stop buying everything I lay my hands on. LOL. I need to process it fully.

Faux fur trimmed coat, Mango

I predict this & Stories has the same fate as previous viral coats if the appetite for shearling/teddy is anything to go by. It ticks the neutral texture, and the length is reminiscent of the viral Mango shearling, which I, of course, fell for. Here’s that coat and more if you need a topper this season.
